HoneyBoost Formula: What Each Label Line Really Says
The HoneyBoost formula is zinc 2.5 mg plus six extracts of 10 to 25 mg each, in a 4.2 g gummy that carries 3 g of added sugar. Every amount is printed with no proprietary blend. The six extracts together weigh 75 mg, about 1.8% of the gummy.

What is in the HoneyBoost formula?
The HoneyBoost formula has seven active lines: zinc (as zinc gluconate), maca, horny goat weed, damiana, tongkat ali, mucuna and L-arginine. Each one prints an amount.
That matters. Federal rules let a label hide amounts inside a proprietary blend (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts Label). HoneyBoost does not use one, so you can add the numbers yourself.
One serving is 1 gummy (4.2 g), and a bottle holds 30 servings. The gummy also holds 10 calories, 3 g of carbohydrate and 3 g of added sugar.
How much of each ingredient is in one gummy?
One gummy holds 2.5 mg of zinc and 75 mg of extracts in total. The table lists the printed amount and the study amount each line is measured against.
| Label line | Printed amount | Amount studies used |
|---|---|---|
| Zinc (as gluconate) | 2.5 mg (23% DV) | Men need 11 mg a day |
| Maca extract 10:1 | 10 mg (100 mg root) | 1,500 to 3,000 mg in trials |
| Horny goat weed 8:1 | 10 mg (80 mg) | No human dose found |
| Damiana 5:1 | 10 mg (50 mg) | No human dose found |
| Tongkat ali 100:1 | 25 mg (2,500 mg root) | 200 mg extract daily |
| Mucuna, 98% L-DOPA | 10 mg (9.8 mg L-DOPA) | 15 g powder, Parkinson trial |
| L-arginine | 10 mg | 1,500 to 5,000 mg |
Sources: maca (Gonzales 2002, Maca and Sexual Desire), tongkat ali (Leitao 2021, Tongkat Ali RCT in Aging Males (Maturitas)), arginine (Rhim 2019, Arginine and ED Meta-analysis (J Sex Med)), zinc (NIH ODS, Zinc). No study tested HoneyBoost.
What does an extract ratio like 10:1 or 100:1 mean?
A ratio such as 10:1 says how much plant went into the extract. About 10 parts of root made 1 part of extract.
So 10 mg of 10:1 maca extract stands for about 100 mg of root, as the label states. The tongkat ali line is 100:1, so 25 mg of extract is declared as 2,500 mg of root.
Do not read a root equivalent as the amount of active compound. Trials report extract weights. Compare extract with extract, and the gap to the studies stays large. A 100:1 claim also cannot be checked from the bottle.

See packsHow much sugar is in the HoneyBoost formula?
Each gummy has 3 g of added sugar, 6% of the Daily Value. A 30-count bottle holds 90 g.
FDA sets the added-sugar Daily Value at 50 g and calls 5% or less "low" (FDA, Added Sugars on the Nutrition Facts Label). At 6%, HoneyBoost is just above that line, so we do not call it low sugar. The American Heart Association suggests about 9 teaspoons, roughly 36 g, a day for most men (AHA, Added Sugars). One gummy is about 8% of that.
Corn syrup and sugar lead the other ingredients, followed by water and pectin. The label also lists "artificial color" next to the line "Lab Tested, No Artificial Additives." We cannot reconcile the two from the bottle, and the seller should explain. See the label claims review.
How should a pharmacist read this formula?
A pharmacist would check three things: each active against its study dose, each active against your medicines, and the label's own caution.
Two lines deserve a question. Mucuna carries L-DOPA, the ingredient of a Parkinson's drug, so a clinician should know about any L-dopa source (MedlinePlus, Levodopa and Carbidopa). L-arginine can lower blood pressure, and Mayo warns about nitrate medicine with it (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine).
No source tests this formula. Each study cited covers one ingredient, at another dose.
The label says: "Consult a physician before using this product." Keep taking prescribed medicine, and ask your doctor or pharmacist before you add a supplement. More on each line is on the ingredients page and in the label guide.
FAQ01
HoneyBoost questions people ask
Does the HoneyBoost formula contain a proprietary blend?
No. All seven active lines print their own amount: zinc 2.5 mg, tongkat ali 25 mg, and 10 mg each for maca, horny goat weed, damiana, mucuna and L-arginine. No blend hides any amount, so the six extracts add up to 75 mg.
What is the total extract weight in one HoneyBoost gummy?
The six extracts weigh 75 mg together: 10 + 10 + 10 + 25 + 10 + 10. A gummy is 4.2 g, so that is about 1.8% of its weight. Zinc adds 2.5 mg more. Sugar and syrup make up most of the rest.
Is the HoneyBoost formula the same as a prescription ED drug?
No. HoneyBoost is a dietary supplement in gummy form, not a prescription medicine, and the FDA does not approve supplements before sale. No source tests this formula for erections. Ask a clinician about erection problems.
Why does the HoneyBoost formula use tongkat ali at 100:1?
The label does not say why. It prints the ratio and a root equivalent of 2,500 mg. A trial used 200 mg of extract a day, so 25 mg is 12.5% of that. The reason for the ratio is a question for the seller.
