HoneyBoost Sugar: How Much Added Sugar Is in One Gummy?
HoneyBoost sugar is 3 g of added sugar per gummy, which the label rates at 6% of the Daily Value. A 30-gummy bottle holds 90 g. The American Heart Association limit for most men is about 36 g a day, so one gummy is about 8% of it.

The number01
How much sugar is in a HoneyBoost gummy?
Each HoneyBoost gummy has 3 g of total sugars, and all 3 g are added sugar. That is 6% of the Daily Value.
The Supplement Facts also show 10 calories and 3 g of carbohydrate per gummy. All of the carbohydrate is sugar. The first two Other Ingredients are sugar and corn syrup, and the list is in order of weight.
The label does not say "sugar-free" or "low sugar," and we do not either. Three grams is about three-quarters of a teaspoon, using the 4 g teaspoon that the American Heart Association figures imply (AHA, Added Sugars).
| Amount | Added sugar | Share of Daily Value (50 g) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 gummy | 3 g | 6% |
| 7 gummies (a week at one a day) | 21 g | 42% |
| 30 gummies (one bottle) | 90 g | 180% |
| 180 gummies (6 bottles) | 540 g | 1,080% |
The percentages are arithmetic on one day's value, spread over the days a bottle lasts.
The limits02
Is 3 g of added sugar a lot?
On its own, no. FDA calls 5% of the Daily Value or less "low" and 20% or more "high," and 6% is just above low (FDA, Added Sugars on the Nutrition Facts Label).
The question is what the gummy adds to. The American Heart Association sets a limit of about 9 teaspoons, roughly 36 g, a day for most men, and 6 teaspoons for most women (AHA, Added Sugars). One gummy is about 8% of the men's figure. Twelve gummies would reach it.
Most men take one, not twelve, so the gummy itself is modest. The risk is stacking: a sweet drink, a dessert and a gummy together. Slide the meter to the sugar you already eat and watch the total.
One gummy adds 3 g. With 15 g from the rest of your day, that is 18 g of added sugar, 50% of the 36 g limit.
- 3 gadded sugar per gummy, 6% of the Daily Value (label)
- 90 gin a 30-gummy bottle
- 2.5 daysworth of the 36 g limit, if one bottle's sugar were eaten at once
The American Heart Association says most men should have no more than 9 teaspoons (36 grams) of added sugar a day (AHA, Added Sugars). The label prints 3 g of added sugar per gummy; the other sugar in your day is your own estimate. A checking aid, not medical advice.
Why it is there03
Why do gummy supplements contain sugar?
Sugar and corn syrup give a gummy its taste and bulk, and pectin sets it. In HoneyBoost they are the first two Other Ingredients.
The six extracts weigh only 75 mg of a 4.2 g gummy, so most of the piece is the candy base. The label does not explain its recipe, and we cannot say why a given amount was chosen. We note that the sugar is a trade for the chewable form. See the gummy form page.
"Total sugars" counts all sugars. "Includes 3 g Added Sugars" counts the sugar put in during making. On HoneyBoost the two numbers match. The % Daily Value, 6%, is measured against 50 g.
Ask the order desk if a sugar-free version exists. We know of none, and we would not assume one.
Who should check04
Who should think twice about the sugar in HoneyBoost gummies?
Anyone who counts sugar for health reasons, above all men with diabetes or prediabetes, should check with a clinician first.
Erection problems can accompany diabetes, and Mayo Clinic lists it among physical causes (Mayo Clinic, ED Symptoms and Causes). L-arginine and damiana both have blood sugar notes on their own safety pages: Mayo says arginine might lower blood sugar in people with diabetes (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine), and damiana may affect blood sugar in animal studies (MSK, Damiana). Neither page is about HoneyBoost.
- Count the gummy as part of the day's added sugar.
- Ask your doctor or pharmacist how it fits your plan.
- Keep taking prescribed medicine exactly as directed.

How much sugar is in a bottle of HoneyBoost?
A bottle of 30 gummies holds 90 g of added sugar. Six bottles hold 540 g.
At the label's serving of one gummy a day, a bottle lasts 30 days and adds 3 g to each day. Other uses are not on the label, so ask the order desk. Count the 3 g in every day you take one.

Keep it in check06
How can you fit HoneyBoost into a daily sugar limit?
Count the 3 g, cut sugar elsewhere, and keep the serving at one gummy.

HoneyBoost sugar questions
Is HoneyBoost sugar free?
No. Each gummy has 3 g of added sugar, and sugar is the first Other Ingredient. The label never says sugar-free or low sugar, and 6% of the Daily Value is just above FDA's 5% line for low.
How many teaspoons of sugar are in one HoneyBoost gummy?
About three-quarters of a teaspoon. The American Heart Association's 9 teaspoons and about 36 g imply 4 g per teaspoon, so 3 g is 0.75 teaspoon. A bottle holds 90 g, about 22 teaspoons.
Does the sugar in HoneyBoost count toward a keto diet?
Yes, it counts as carbohydrate: 3 g per gummy. The label makes no keto claim and no net carb figure. If you track carbohydrate closely, count each gummy as 3 g and ask your clinician.
Does HoneyBoost contain artificial sweeteners?
The label lists no artificial sweetener. Its sweet items are sugar and corn syrup, plus natural flavor. It lists artificial color, which is a dye and not a sweetener.
Can diabetics take HoneyBoost gummies?
That is a question for a doctor. Each gummy adds 3 g of added sugar, and the label says not to take it with a medical condition or other medications. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before trying it.
What is the daily limit for added sugar?
The American Heart Association says no more than 150 calories a day for most men, about 9 teaspoons or 36 g, and 100 calories for most women. FDA's Daily Value is 50 g for labels.
How many HoneyBoost gummies equal the daily sugar limit?
Twelve gummies would equal 36 g, the men's AHA limit, and that would leave no room for any other added sugar. The label's serving is one gummy, so this is arithmetic, not a suggestion.
