HoneyBoost Ingredients: The Full List, Line by Line
The HoneyBoost ingredients are seven printed lines: zinc (as gluconate) 2.5 mg, maca, horny goat weed, damiana and mucuna extracts at 10 mg each, tongkat ali extract 25 mg and L-arginine 10 mg. No blend hides an amount. The other ingredients are mostly sugar and corn syrup.

The list01
What are the HoneyBoost ingredients?
Each HoneyBoost gummy has seven active lines: one mineral, five plant extracts and one amino acid. All seven print an amount.
That is useful, because many men's formulas hide amounts inside a "proprietary blend." Here the Supplement Facts panel gives a milligram figure for every line, and the label states that no blend is used. The gummy weighs 4.2 g, and the six extracts together weigh 75 mg.
The extract lines also print the plant amount they came from. A 10:1 ratio means about 10 parts of plant made 1 part of extract. So the 10 mg maca extract equals 100 mg of root, as the label says. The root equivalent is not an amount of active compound.
One by one02
What does each HoneyBoost ingredient do?
Each ingredient has its own page with sources, a studied dose and cautions.
Read each page as "what a study found with this ingredient," never as "what HoneyBoost does." No study tested the gummy.
- Zinc, 2.5 mg: a nutrient with a daily need of 11 mg for men.
- Maca, 10 mg: small trials on desire and mild ED.
- Horny goat weed, 10 mg: limited evidence.
- Damiana, 10 mg: animal studies only.
- Tongkat ali, 25 mg: trials with testosterone outcomes.
- Mucuna, 10 mg: a natural L-DOPA source.
- L-arginine, 10 mg: trials at 1,500 mg and up.
Printed vs studied03
How do the printed amounts compare with study doses?
Every line is smaller than the amount its studies used. The gap runs from about 8-fold to more than 500-fold.
Maca trials ran 1,500 to 3,000 mg of root powder a day (Gonzales 2002, Maca and Sexual Desire). A tongkat ali trial gave 200 mg of extract daily for six months (Leitao 2021, Tongkat Ali RCT in Aging Males (Maturitas)). L-arginine trials used 1,500 to 5,000 mg (Rhim 2019, Arginine and ED Meta-analysis (J Sex Med)). A gummy holds 10 mg of it.
| Name on the label | Printed per gummy | Label equivalent | Amount used in research | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zinc (as zinc gluconate) 2.5 mg, 23% DV | 2.5 mg | None printed | Men need 11 mg a day (RDA, which is the 100% Daily Value); the adult upper limit for supplements is 40 mg a day (NIH ODS, Zinc) (Prasad 1996, Zinc Status and Testosterone) | Raised testosterone in nine marginally zinc-deficient older men after six months; the NIH page says nothing on testosterone or sexual function |
| Maca (Lepidium meyenii) Root Extract 10:1, 10 mg (equivalent to 100 mg maca root) | 10 mg | 100 mg (10:1 extract) | 1,500 or 3,000 mg of maca root powder a day for 12 weeks in healthy men; 2,400 mg of dry extract a day for 12 weeks in a mild ED trial (Gonzales 2002, Maca and Sexual Desire) (Zenico 2009, Maca in Mild ED) (Shin 2010, Maca Systematic Review) (MSK, Maca) | Small, self-reported gains in desire or mild ED; did not change testosterone |
| Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium spp.) Extract 8:1, 10 mg (equivalent to 80 mg horny goat weed) | 10 mg | 80 mg (8:1 extract) | No human erection or desire trial of Epimedium was found, so there is no studied dose; LiverTox lists a usual product dose of one 250 or 500 mg tablet a day (MSK, Epimedium (Horny Goat Weed)) (LiverTox, Horny Goat Weed) | Lab and animal findings only for its main compound icariin; human evidence is thin |
| Damiana (Turnera diffusa) Leaf Extract 5:1, 10 mg (equivalent to 50 mg damiana leaf) | 10 mg | 50 mg (5:1 extract) | No human trial of damiana for sexual function was found, so there is no studied dose; Memorial Sloan Kettering lists animal studies only (MSK, Damiana) | Traditional use and animal studies only; human evidence is very thin |
| Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) Root Extract 100:1, 25 mg (equivalent to 2,500 mg tongkat ali root) | 25 mg | 2,500 mg (100:1 extract) | 200 mg a day of Eurycoma extract for 6 months, with training, in 45 men with low testosterone; LiverTox gives traditional doses of 100 to 400 mg (Leisegang 2022, Eurycoma and Testosterone Meta-analysis) (Leitao 2021, Tongkat Ali RCT in Aging Males (Maturitas)) (LiverTox, Tongkat Ali) (Ang 2004, Mercury in Tongkat Ali Products) | Some small trials report testosterone and mood changes in older or stressed men; trials are small and short |
| Mucuna (Mucuna pruriens) Seed Extract standardized to 98% L-DOPA, 10 mg (9.8 mg L-DOPA) | 10 mg | 98% L-DOPA, 9.8 mg L-DOPA | 15 g or 30 g of mucuna seed powder, as single doses, in a Parkinson's disease trial that compared it with the drug levodopa (Katzenschlager 2004, Mucuna in Parkinson Disease (JNNP)) (Shukla 2009, Mucuna and Male Fertility (Fertil Steril)) (Aureli 2025, High-percentage L-dopa Supplements Quality) | One study in infertile men and one in Parkinson's disease; none measured erections |
| L-Arginine, 10 mg | 10 mg | None printed | 1,500 to 5,000 mg a day in 10 randomized trials of 540 men with mild to moderate ED (a 2019 meta-analysis) (Rhim 2019, Arginine and ED Meta-analysis (J Sex Med)) (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine) (MSK, Arginine) | Pooled trials found higher ED scores in mild to moderate ED and no change in desire; the doses were grams, hundreds of times more than 10 mg |
Zinc is the exception in kind, not size. It is compared with the daily need of 11 mg for men (NIH ODS, Zinc), and one gummy supplies 2.5 mg of it. Horny goat weed and damiana have no human dose to compare.

What are the other ingredients in HoneyBoost gummies?
The other ingredients are sugar, corn syrup, water, pectin, citric acid, natural flavor, guar gum, tapioca starch, sodium citrate and artificial color.
Sugar and corn syrup come first, and the label gives them as the largest parts. Each gummy has 3 g of added sugar, which is 6% of the Daily Value of 50 g (FDA, Added Sugars on the Nutrition Facts Label). A bottle holds 90 g. See the HoneyBoost sugar page.
The last item, "artificial color," sits next to a front line that says "Lab Tested, No Artificial Additives." Both are printed. We cannot reconcile them from the bottle, and the seller should explain. The label names no lab and publishes no result.
The label says: "Packaged in the same facility as peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy and milk products." It makes no allergen-free claim, so read it before buying if you have such an allergy.
Know before you buy06
Are there cautions on the HoneyBoost ingredient list?
Yes. Several ingredients carry cautions on their own safety pages, and the label itself says not to take HoneyBoost with other medications.
Each caution below comes from the page named, and applies to that ingredient only.
- L-arginine can lower blood pressure, and nitrate medicine plus arginine might drop it too far (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine).
- Mucuna is a source of L-dopa, and a clinician should know about any L-dopa source (MedlinePlus, Levodopa and Carbidopa).
- Horny goat weed should be avoided with heart disease, per Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK, Epimedium (Horny Goat Weed)).
- Tongkat ali is a possible rare cause of liver injury (LiverTox, Tongkat Ali).
- Zinc can reduce absorption of some antibiotics (NIH ODS, Zinc).
Ask your doctor or pharmacist, and keep taking any prescribed medicine. Chest pain or fainting means 911.

Can you verify what is in a HoneyBoost gummy?
Not from the bottle. The label names no manufacturer, no facility and no lab, and no lab report is published.
The seller lists lot references, HB-26/GO-7080 and HB-7080-26-GO, but they are seller references and not lab proof. The FDA keeps a list of sexual enhancement products found with hidden drugs (FDA, Sexual Enhancement and Energy Product Notifications). HoneyBoost is not on the list as read, and nothing here says it is tainted. It is a category risk worth knowing. See testing and quality and the supplement facts.

HoneyBoost ingredient questions
How many active ingredients are in HoneyBoost?
HoneyBoost lists seven active lines per gummy: zinc, maca, horny goat weed, damiana, tongkat ali, mucuna and L-arginine. Six are plant or amino acid lines at 10 to 25 mg, and zinc is 2.5 mg. Nothing is hidden in a blend.
Does HoneyBoost contain caffeine?
The label lists no caffeine, and none of its seven active lines or ten other ingredients is a caffeine source. We cannot test the product, so ask the order desk if you are sensitive to stimulants.
What is mucuna extract in HoneyBoost?
Mucuna pruriens is a bean plant. HoneyBoost uses a seed extract standardized to 98% L-DOPA, giving 9.8 mg of L-DOPA per gummy. Parkinson trials used grams of seed powder, so the amounts are very different.
What does tongkat ali 100:1 mean?
It means about 100 parts of root made 1 part of extract. The label prints 25 mg of extract, which it equates to 2,500 mg of root. Studies dose by extract weight, so compare with 200 mg, not 2,500 mg.
Is HoneyBoost made with real honey?
The label says honey flavor and lists no honey. Its Other Ingredients are sugar, corn syrup, water, pectin and others, with natural flavor. It does not say the flavor comes from honey.
Are the HoneyBoost ingredients natural?
Some lines are plant extracts and the label says natural flavor, but it also lists artificial color. We do not use that word as a safety claim. Natural origin does not tell you a dose or a risk.
Is there gelatin in HoneyBoost?
The label lists pectin as the gelling agent and no gelatin. That does not make it vegan or allergen-free, and the label makes neither claim. Ask the order desk for dietary details the bottle does not print.
